skb day 187
It is a beautiful July morning, nice and cool, and a lovely day for cricket.
I am not a die hard cricket fan, but I am doing my stint of 'patriotic' with my full support for the St Kitts Patriots. I expect them to share licks, and more licks on their home turf ... and let the party continue.
Photography is still alive and well in SKN. On a personal note, I have changed my diets and exercise routines and I am feeling 21 again, and giving my GOD all the Thanks, Glory and Praise.
Great health is what makes our life worth living, but many of us don't seem to know until 'the doc' tells us so. With all the free health information posted on Facebook these days, I perceive that many folks are looking more seriously at health, not necessarily 'their own health", but it is a step in the right direction. Cautiously trying out a things or two may not be that bad for some of us.
I tried out the "warm lemon water with honey first thing in the morning", and it really works as claimed. Of course I have doubled up on my vegetables intake and gingerly increasing my raw garlic intake from one clover to two. There are a few little things that could make a big difference in our health. I am off french fries, and getting ready to make my own bread and cake with locally made flour. I guess in time to come our bakeries will provide customers with bread made from breadfruit flour or green fig flour, but for now we must help ourselves and bake our own bread.
The local politic has shifted gears, and everyone is doing what they do best. I am not getting into any fray, just taking pictures, documenting and sharing the historic events that I can get to witness, and share some of these pictures with family and friends overseas. I am not surprised at some comments made because 98% of the people are still in election mode. Some folks really seem to feel that we will have another election within a year, another set believe that to be two years, but I am optimistic for five years, but only time will tell. So much for the politics.
SKN is still the most beautiful of countries in the world, just ask our visitors. If you are not seeing it, I venture to say that you may need to get a "politics" filter. Our visitors are all 'politics' free, and they really don't need to be contaminated with our politics.
The rains are here, let us enjoy our land of beauty, where we wish peace to abound this season, capture all the glorious pictures that we can, print and frame, display and share, appreciate our thrice blessed and eternally beautiful heritage.
Have a wonderful skn day.
