Life is great ... for those of us who can find the time to see and discover the greatness, in this beautiful world of ours. The world is beautiful ... but that is a different story. In reality maybe 'great' does not truly describe 'life', neither does 'beautiful' do justice to the 'world'. I believe both life and the world only exist as we wish to see them or perceive them, and maybe if we 'concentrate' hard enough we can alter their reality. This is beginning to sound more crazy than complicated. In case you did not know there are more of 'them' out there, than there are 'locked up', to keep us safe from 'them' ... maybe in another reality it is to keep 'them' safe from 'us'. That is why I like the cannibals ... eat your enemy and anything that offends you. If you can't eat it raw, roast it. I don't think I am one of the 'them', and I am not 'locked up', and in this reality I am jus

presidential photography continued ...

In my August 15th blog, just shy of a month ago, I ended by saying " After using the Pentax brand cameras for over 20 years, in 1988 I made a switch to Canon with the T-90 model, and never looked back. Now another 20 years later, should I switch to another and better brand of camera? Some folks swear by Nikon, some by Olympus, but I am not swearing, only staying with my Canon brand, EOS camera models, and "L Series" lenses. This is the best camera and lens system available on the planet today. No, I am not getting paid for any promo. It's just an undeniable fact." Like the president  that was my statement made last month, but today given the increase in knowledge, information and facts, it is necessary to re-adjust my position, and if necessary to retract even what was said, and replace it with another statement. I still think it is the height of idiocy, but if it works for the president it will work for me too. You see how the leaders are responsible for th

... I was wrong but right

These days I hear so much about "there is no wrong or right answer", that I am glad I was born last century before this complacent and compromising attitude became accepted as the modern way of life. Some people are still not accepting it while others welcome it with open arms, while wishing they had two more arm to hug it real tight. I do not subscribe to the notion that 'there is no wrong or right answer" but like the perpetrators I will elect to go with the flow for today, because I am holding fire in one hand and water in the other, and I am right and wrong with my last blog post some ten days ago. I know some will want to quote the Proverbs about a "double minded person" and you are totally right, but be careful when picking the beam, because it could be hazardous to your vision. Like last week I still cannot see into the future and have to rely on the people who seem to think that their computer profiles and models of the historic weather data makes

.. no Independence hurricane this year

L et us pray that we do not get any Independence hurricane this year. I read in the papers that there are some political jokers praying for hurricane, and I hope that they and their families are totally hurricane proof. Everyone knows that the hurricane season peak is August to September, and for our Country it seems to be in September and just before our Independence celebrations. Should we or should we not fault the politicians for foisting this upon us? When people have the politics for breakfast, lunch and dinner, nothing else comes before then, ever, so we are stuck with the added excitement of peak hurricane activity along side our Independence celebrations. But people in our country seem to like excitement and may be really enjoying it, up to a point. Bizarre as it may appear to be. As I scribe this the remnants of Gaston are out to our East and coming straight at us. This time around I am not hearing the 'experts' saying that this weather will hit us, or pass by us, a
