Outside again

  Greetings It has been a while since we blogged here, but we are outside again.  The world has dramatically changed  in a few short years. Some of us are still awaiting an apparent appropriate and convenient time to restart our business, and other stages of our life and living. In our area of the Caribbean region almost all of us are outside again, and all borders are open for travel and business. It is not so in other areas of the world, and we hope and pray that it would not be long before everything is back to normal. Technology is not waiting for humans, and the developers and inventors are stepping into otherwise new and uncharted areas of software development.  The move to mirrorless cameras continue. I can see the move of some photographers to upgrade to the latest technology. Feedback seem to indicate that many first time photographers are getting high level mirrorless cameras, and without reading the camera manuals, have mixed results and comments. The entr...

Carnival 50.

 I was begining to look out for CARNIVAL 50, even though it was not going to be anything like what we have grown accustomed to over the years, but it would be something rather than nothing, but now the people in charge are putting certain "things" on pause because another "strain" is supposedly on the loose. I do not have any problem with cancelling anything, and changing plans and programs in the public interest, because we should expect this action from people who are trying their very best to err on the side of caution, and to keep our nation safe. However, nothing has been said yet about the possible effects of the "strain"on our CARNIVAL 50 which is running in de bubble. It is very strange that this or similar action did not apply to the International Cricket hosted in SKB just  months ago, where our safety was tried, tested and proven with a real community spread in the thousands, during the tournament period, but evasive action is already put in pla...
