February 16th ushered in a new wave.  All change is good, but you can't tell that to some folks, of course we know why. After 30 days I am able to capture on film some of the environmental changes that to my mind should have taken place a very long time ago. I do not wish to get into any politics, suffice to say that with this change, it appears to me that some folks have recommitted to being the best employee they can be, without the need for any additional salary. My Saturday afternoon walk took me  up the hill to the R.L.Bradshaw International Airport, and for the first time in years, to be exact, the first time since the bypass road was constructed that I can really appreciate the landscape. A quiet week as we prepare for Carnival, Christmas, 2015 .. and elections too.  The judge feels that two week after the revelry ends is the time to give the matter attention. Well, she is in charge, and everybody have plenty time to get ready. The radio DJ said that the PM riddle date is falling on the day after the birth date, which happens to be five days earlier than the judge's date. A lot of numbers are playing. Question is, who is going to win? Everybody running things. Or more correctly, running their own thing. People have a way of forgetting that there is a Supreme One, the Master, the Creator, GOD. I need not say anything else. If you don't know or don't believe it is a matter for you. We will see how this "matter" pans out in time to come. I feel like blogging today. This is not the long talk blog, and you are only here for the photos. I am not keeping up any long talk. You know where I am, and I know where you are, and that settles it. Three months have gone by, just like that. Easter Monday, Labour Day, Green Valley, Music Festival, Culturama, Independence and Carnival are upon us again, and with speed. If we take too long to wink, we miss them. We can't afford to wink these days, we have to keep we eyes open 24x7. These days is the politics like it running things, or for some people ruining things. Given the times that we now live in we all must learn to adjust, and adjust real fast, or we will get left behind, and way behind at that. These are not the days of one today and one tomorrow. I believe that the 'laid back Caribbean' of yesterday is passing, and in some instances, have passed, but some of us are not ready for the modern Caribbean of today. This is 2014. ""Photographers have a way of describing a certain aspect of their photo image capture as shooting. I have not researched it, but I could associate the activity with viewing, aiming and squeezing the shutter button, in a fashion similar to a firearm user. Given the prominence of gun related crime in some of our communities, I feel it is safer for me to steer clear of shooting photos and resort to snapping photos instead. In the real world of photography, real photographers neither shoot photos nor snap photos, but create and make photographic images. But we no longer seem to live in the real wold of photography, therefore real photographers are seemingly ceasing to exist anymore. These days everything is debatable, even cold hard unchangeable facts are debatable by certain "people" of our now generation. Santa missed the flight today, so he sending mine by express mail next week. That is a whole next confusion but I am still enjoying my Christmas and Carnival without my Christmas gift, but if you live like me everyday is Christmas. Every day we need be thankful to GOD for being alive. The people's enemy is out there running wild looking looking for who it can devour, and many of us are playing into its hand, thinking that we are smart or smarter. Every day we need to seek divine protection to avoid being in any "accident", because 'accidents' happen when you are not prepared, not looking, and it is often not how it look, but how it is. Sometimes I wonder about santa because if you take the "N" from in the middle of santa, and put it on the end, it is a whole different entity.
