 I was begining to look out for CARNIVAL 50, even though it was not going to be anything like what we have grown accustomed to over the years, but it would be something rather than nothing, but now the people in charge are putting certain "things" on pause because another "strain" is supposedly on the loose. I do not have any problem with cancelling anything, and changing plans and programs in the public interest, because we should expect this action from people who are trying their very best to err on the side of caution, and to keep our nation safe. However, nothing has been said yet about the possible effects of the "strain"on our CARNIVAL 50 which is running in de bubble. Liverpool Row, Basseterre, St Kitts It is a beautiful day in skb. Just had breakfast, one helping of oats with two bananas, raisins and cinnamon, sweetened by honey and sprinkled with Moringa powder food supplement. As you may know I eat my Moringa food supplement every day, except on Sunday. Friends tell me that a person has to fast at least one day in the week. And it seems to be working for me. Greetings. May you continue to prosper and be in great health for 2018. This will not be my one and only post for this year. There are many things that we need to address in our bright and beautiful skn. Maybe my pictures can help to remind us that we are not an island unto ourselves. Recently I am spending my time on the Bay Road and viewing the action in the Bay. I can see Port Zante from where I live up on the hillside, but someone built a 3 storey house on Sprott Street and blocked my view. No problem. February 16th ushered in a new wave.  All change is good, but you can't tell that to some folks, of course we know why. After 30 days I am able to capture on film some of the environmental changes that to my mind should have taken place a very long time ago. I do not wish to get into any politics, suffice to say that with this change, it appears to me that some folks have recommitted to being the best employee they can be, without the need for any additional salary. My Saturday afternoon walk took me  up the hill to the R.L.Bradshaw International Airport, and for the first time in years, to be exact, the first time since the bypass road was constructed that I can really appreciate the landscape. Many 'things' received their head recently. skn is finally in election mode. The 6th and 16th are expected to be historic days. All days are historic as long as you can talk about it. Yesterday was an historic day, as was the day before. The 17th will be an historic day and our skn will continue to be a better place. It is not us who have placed skn where it is, and with or without us, skn will continue to prosper, and our people will have the greatest of health if they would only follow the principles of nature for longevity. As to photography in this 'crazy' time of electioneering campaigns, which rival and even outdo carnival in many respects, I suspect the focus can be an aspect of 'candid portraiture', as some participants will display uncontrolled emotions at various times in the lifetime of the campaign. I was out very late last evening, till about nine. It was the official opening of Sugar Mas 43 National Carnival at Shoreline, on the Bay Road, West of the old Treasury Building now home to the National Trust and Museum. It does not matter how much rain had come, that show was not going to get no bus [burst]. As long as there is music, there is show. No if, no but, no nothing. This might be a rainy season, so band man take warning, rain or no rain just be there, and on time to. I was there early because I wanted to see who was going in for NATIONAL QUEEN. Not that I would know anyone in this young generation of queens, but I just might find someone to support. After their 5 minute promenade on the stage, I am now backing Ms NEVIS for Sugar Mas 43 National Carnival Queen. Usually I support the contestant sponsored by LIME, it is just something I did from the days of being a Lime employee.
