... is it done yet?
I don't know. What do you think? Elections are over and done, the 4-peat Government is all sworn in and legal, so it should all be done now, as far as I would suspect, but some folks are still saying that "it ain't over yet" ... well it is for me. I was back to living a normal life from the 26th January 2010. Normal for me is take a snap or two every day and blogging not just when I feel like it, but when I have to make an utterance on something that is a bit bothersome. Today I plan to got into town and take some snaps representative of the day after or more appropriately, the first day in the life of the new LABOUR PARTY administration.
I should have been down there at 8.00 AM to capture the NEW Government turning up early for work on the first day, but I did not wish to embarrass myself, so I stayed at home enjoying the view of the hills above Shadwell and appreciating the early morning aromatic breeze. You have to live in the country to know about this. At 4.00 AM this morning the temperature outside was 71F and at 8.00 AM in the shade of my Soursop tree it was only 75F. Good thing these elections are done or maybe one of the 'voices' could be blaming this cool [maybe chilly] morning on the Prime Minister. It is like some folks hold him responsible for everything, even when they stump their big toe on their own step. Please!!!
For this year I will do less talking and writing and float more snapshots in this space. I run a couple photo blogs but this one gets more attention as it is associated with Facebook, and that is where more action seem to be. I use the Picasa web albums for the convenience of Picasa3 uploading directly from RAW. I don't particularly like how Picasa3 does it, but it is free and saves me time, plus it serves the purpose of creating a reasonable quality snap for any viewer.
Let me pull a couple images from the post election albums and if you can smile, then smile and if you can't, then laugh. By the way, some folks still feel that it is not over until it is ALL EIGHT [8], six [6] down ... and according to my Jan ... mudoooooo.
I am missing the message here, maybe it is some high tech subliminal, modern approach to PR... but it seems that it might not have worked, or maybe it did, in reverse.
This was the "much talked-about" pre-election red flags, which I did not see until the end since I live in the West.
I just decided to continue this blog in my msn live space as I have a handful of photos to share.
Have a nice SKN 4-peat day.
